Synopsis
Humanity has evolved.
But it wasn't human.
Civilization has been collapsing for hundreds of years.
Humanity was beginning to build the world again.
But one day,
Humanity, which has set off into space, returns to Earth as an "evolved being."
To counter this threat,
The giant corporation Lotz was developing a weapon that could convert human life into energy.
A mysterious boy named Hero gets caught up in the battle.
In the battle for the future of humanity,
He will learn the truth of his existence.
Will evolution or humans save the world?

Main characters
Hero (Awakened Boy)
A 17-year-old boy with powerful telepathic powers.
Raised in a research facility under the control of the giant corporation Lotz, 15 years ago he was deployed in the war against the rebel force Bantaray. However, his powers went out of control and he destroyed the city of Bantaray. Afterwards, he was sealed away as a dangerous factor and fell into a long slumber.
--And now, he has been freed by the resistance group Garms.
With only vague memories of the past, he throws himself into the vortex of battle to discover the meaning of his power and to seize his freedom.
Gami (Bearer of Rebellion)
A 35-year-old man who leads the resistance group Garms.
He was once a promising candidate for a leadership role at Lotz, but after learning of the cruel experiments and massacres taking place within the military, he left the army. He then put forward his own beliefs and gathered together others who shared his doubts and anger towards Lotz to form "Garms."
They continue their underground activities based in the rural town of Painapo.
While he makes calm decisions as the leader of the organization, he is also a man of strong sense of duty who places protecting his comrades above all else. Sensing great potential in Ciro, he sets him free and shows him the way to fight together.
"How you use your power is up to you—but if you ever get lost, I'll guide you."
Jiro (the swordsman who wields the hot blade)
A 25-year-old man and fighter for the resistance group Garms. He is skilled in swordsmanship and will not hesitate to stand on the front lines and wield his blade to protect his comrades.
He hails from the deepest countryside of the rural town of Painapo, and has trained hard since he was a child, dreaming of becoming stronger. He is filled with anger at how Lotz is waging war and robbing so many people of their way of life, and so he throws himself into Garms.
He has a bold personality, is caring, and is loyal. He especially admires the leader, Gami, and is prepared to fight on the front lines for him.
"If you want to get stronger, I'll teach you how to use the sword!"
Eza (a wandering mercenary pursuing the truth)
A 29-year-old man who is a freelance mercenary employed by the resistance group Garms.
He was formerly a member of the mercenary group Vespa and is a veteran soldier who has fought on various battlefields. He was also under contract with Lotz, but after the contract ended he sought a new purpose and teamed up with Garms.
He is skilled and remains calm in any fight. However, rather than being driven by a sense of chivalry, he enjoys the "fight itself," and maintains a somewhat carefree demeanor.
He believes there is a hidden truth in the world and pursues it, but what is this "truth" he seeks?
"I'm not a champion of justice. I just take the side that I think is fun."
Nelly
Created by Lots,
An artificial life form created from the genes of Hero and Tarne.
Although innocent and friendly, it possesses immense power.
That power has both the potential to save the world and the danger of leading it to ruin.
She is strongly drawn to Hero, and their feelings for each other gradually develop as they travel together.
Tarne
A 17-year-old girl who was born an orphan and raised in the research facilities of the giant corporation Lots from a young age. Through experiments using Hero's genes, she gained powerful telekinetic abilities. She learned of Nelly's existence, who was also being used as a test subject in the research facility, and wishes to set her free. She also questioned why she was recorded as an orphan who lost her family in the war 15 years ago, but eventually learned that Hero was the one who unleashed a power powerful enough to end the war and destroy the city of Bantarei. She wonders if there is some connection between her past and Hero's power—and tries to make contact with him to find out the truth.
Through her encounter with Hero, Tarne's fate begins to change dramatically.
Sazata
A mysterious man who belongs to Garmz.
He is taciturn and doesn't show his emotions, but when he wields a sword, he is faster and stronger than anyone else.
He once saved Garmz when he was in dire straits, which earned him Gami's recognition of his abilities and led to him joining the group.

A scientist belonging to Lots.
A sinister-looking man with his left eye covered by an eyepatch and flowing white hair.
He had an abnormal obsession with the study of telekinesis and prana.
He is obsessed with creating the "ultimate life form."
He was once gentle and lived peaceful days with war orphans,
The death of his beloved wife and the illness of a student he couldn't save caused his heart to quietly become distorted.
After the Bantarei War, he was invited by Lotz and has now become a mad scientist obsessed with human experimentation and the pursuit of evolution.
And then he secretly carries out a certain "forbidden experiment."
It was his "last resort" in case his own theory of evolution was wrong.
Zam
A soldier belonging to the Belps Special Forces of the Lotz Army.
He graduated from the military academy at a young age with top grades and was selected for an elite unit.
Terrace, my father, once lived a peaceful life in an orphanage.
After failing to save his wife and student, Zam watched his father, who had gone to Lots and become obsessed with a distorted ideal of evolution.
I think I understand his suffering and his despair.
That's precisely why I believe in it.
My father should still be able to come back.
—If that is not possible.

Hummer
A late-40s engineer who was once in charge of weapons development at Lots.
He left Lots after the war 15 years ago and now works as a freelance engineer. He has his own unique philosophy on weapons, seeking "soul" and "aesthetics" in them.
He is currently cooperating with the development of weapons for the Prana Convergence Tower, but his true intentions remain shrouded in mystery.
"Weapons must be beautiful."

Garumz
An underground resistance organization that opposes the giant corporation Lotz.
The leader is a man who once served in the Lotz army - Gami.
Their current base is the bar Dusty Glass in the Painapo district.
There, they devise information gathering, infiltration plans, and diversionary tactics, and get closer to discovering Lotz's true nature - the conspiracy hidden in the Prana Convergence Tower and the underground city.
It is also an organization that brings together members with a variety of pasts, including former soldiers, mercenaries, test subjects, spies, and traitors.
LOTZ
A huge conglomerate that controls politics, the military, infrastructure, and even people's lives.
Although it is a corporation, it also incorporates government functions that control law and order, and now functions as a "nation" itself.
15 years ago, they won the war against the rebel nation of Bantaray and subsequently took complete control of the entire city-state.
Currently, transportation, communications, and food supplies in major cities are all under Lotz's control.
The iconic facility, the Prana Convergence Tower, is said to be the center for generating enormous amounts of energy, but there are also rumors that top-secret experiments and selections related to the "future of humanity" are being carried out inside it.
Construction is also underway on an "underground city" where only the chosen few can move.
What is the "future of humanity" that Lotz envisions? No one knows his true intentions yet.
Prana Convergence Tower
A next-generation energy facility that Lots is proud of.
It collects and converts the subtle energy "prana" generated by life activities and mental reactions, and supplies it to the entire city's functions.
Officially, it was built as a symbol of a sustainable energy society,
The structure extends deep underground, and details of the interior are only made public to a select few.
Some people even say that this tower holds the key to a "new evolution of humanity" and a "future in which only the chosen few survive."
So what exactly is Lotz looking at beyond this tower?
Prana
It's like a "spiritual energy" that is faintly emitted from all living things in this world.
It is said that it is generated particularly strongly by those with telepathic powers, and that enormous amounts of prana are generated during periods of heightened emotion or at the moment of death.
Lotz is conducting research into extracting and utilizing this prana as an "energy resource."
It is converted and made usable by the "Prana Convergence Tower."
Vespa
Official name: Werk Security Partners (commonly known as Vespa)
Although not affiliated with Lotz, this is a private military organization with a contract. "A Rank" Mercenary missions deployed to the battlefield (combat personnel like Eza)
"B Rank": Armed security commission for VIP protection and facility security. "C Rank": City security, general affairs, station and facility security.
BELPS
Lotz army special forces
A small but elite special forces unit established by Lotz to deal with anti-government forces and terrorists.
They are known as the Regional Armed Forces and Subversive Activities Elimination Service (BELPS), and are spoken of with fear and awe among local citizens as an "anti-terrorism annihilation unit."
Only those who graduated top of their class from military academy or have achieved outstanding results on the battlefield are selected. Their mission is not to "subdue the enemy" but to "completely eliminate the enemy's existence."
Space lifeform (human origin)
This is the fate of a "portion of humanity" that once lived on Earth, but set off into space about 1,000 years ago to escape extreme climate change and environmental collapse.
Only the chosen few escape into space with the goal of "evolution and survival," and after undergoing physical modifications and merging with AI, they are transformed into a form that can no longer be called "human."
They become strange beings with mechanical bodies, acquire technology that transcends time and civilization, and return to Earth once again.
There are several theories about the purpose of their return.

Each character's unique skills are activated by consuming stamina (HP) and prana points (PP).
- Consume 1 Prana Point to prevent instant death.
- The in-battle substitution system allows all allied characters to participate in combat. If all members on the front line are defeated, they will be automatically replaced by reserve members.
- Growth stats change depending on actions taken during battle. The game also features style settings that allow you to freely customize your training strategy and change your attack patterns.
